This page explains how Satori Method uses cookies and similar storage on the testimonial site. We keep it minimal — only what the site actually needs to function.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a tiny text file your browser stores when you visit a website. It can hold a session token, a preference, or an identifier — it does not run code or read other files on your device.
The cookies we set
The site uses two categories of storage:
1. Essential — required for the site to work
- Supabase Auth session. When an administrator logs in to manage testimonials, Supabase stores a session token in your browser's local storage (not a traditional cookie, but similar in spirit). Without it, the admin dashboard cannot recognise you between page loads. Removed automatically when you sign out.
2. Functional — small UX preferences
- Scroll restoration flag. The site clears the browser's saved scroll position on first load so the page always opens at the top. This is a one-line script, not a persisted cookie.
What we do not use
- No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel).
- No advertising cookies.
- No retargeting pixels.
- No social-media tracking trackers (we do not embed Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
If we ever add an analytics tool, we will update this page and announce it on the home page before the change takes effect.
Embedded videos
Testimonials may include videos hosted on YouTube. When a YouTube embed loads, YouTube may set its own cookies according to Google's privacy policy. We have no control over what YouTube sets — only over whether we embed it. If you prefer not to load YouTube content, your browser's “Block third-party cookies” setting will prevent it from running.
Managing cookies
Every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies. See:
